Description

A full-fledged cycling tour circling the entire main island of Okinawa — one that delivers a real sense of achievement and emotion.
Riding roughly 300 km over three days and two nights, you'll find a level of accomplishment and joy you simply can't get from ordinary sightseeing, and maybe even discover a new side of yourself along the way.
Starting from Naha, Okinawa's gateway, the emerald-green waters of the west coast greet you right from the start.
Beyond Cape Hedo, the island's northernmost point, lies a treasure trove of nature — with a bit of luck, you might spot a protected Ishikawa's frog or an Okinawa rail.
Waking up in the great outdoors is a feeling like no other.
After soaking up the fresh air of Higashi Village, you'll head along the east coast, where old Ryukyu tradition blends with American influence, on your way to the finish. You'll stay at Ecostay Higashi, a glamping hotel set far from the noise of the city in a lush, natural setting.
Spend your days cycling or golfing, and your nights beneath a sky full of stars, enjoying barbecue that could rival a Michelin-starred meal.
This premium tour is perfect for anyone seeking the special experience of "riding all of Okinawa."
Okinawa Jiyu Jikan is ready for your challenge.

Description

Take a leisurely journey through the history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom on this "time-slip" tour through Ryukyu-era Naha.
Beginning at the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Shikinaen Garden and Shuri Castle, you'll cycle at an easy pace through historic streets and living culture.
The course takes in the timeless atmosphere of Shikinaen Garden and Shuri Castle, a visit to the long-established Zuisen Distillery to see traditional awamori-making, a health blessing at Daruma-ji Temple, and the beautifully stone-paved old road of Kinjo-cho — some of Naha's most historically significant spots.
Traveling by bicycle lets you experience narrow lanes and scenery that a car would simply pass by.
With a guide alongside you, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the history behind each location — a true "experience" of Okinawa that goes far beyond ordinary sightseeing.
