Oura Bay (Nago City)
Spreading along the east coast of Nago City, Oura Bay is a globally significant marine area known for its massive blue coral colonies and the dugongs that visit its waters. Untouched, mysterious nature extends around the mouth of the Oura River, where mangrove forests grow. Riding alongside this calm, beautiful emerald-green bay is one of the major highlights of east-coast cycling.
Michi-no-Eki Ginoza Roadside Station (Ginoza Village)
Located about midway along the east-coast route, this is a perfect rest stop for cyclists. It's stocked with fresh local specialty products, food, and sweets, making it ideal for refueling on a long ride. There's also terrace seating overlooking the Pacific, giving you the perfect place to recover before tackling the second half of your ride.
King Tacos Kin Main Store (Kin Town)
A famous shop known as the birthplace of taco rice, one of Okinawa's signature comfort foods. The Taco Rice with Cheese and Vegetables comes piled high, practically overflowing from its container — a powerful ally for cyclists tackling long distances. Eat your fill to fully recharge, and take in the exotic, international atmosphere of the streets of Kin Town along the way.
